Kevin from Bez Driver Training

Hi, my name is Kevin, aka Bez.

My career as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) started in 1999, working in Preston and the surrounding areas. I have maintained Grade 6 and the newer Grade A for many years. I was previously registered to teach driving instructors (ORDIT), which I did for several years.

In 2008, a position came up to become a driving instructor for the fire service. Not wanting to miss an opportunity like that, I joined their driving school team. The job was varied and I gained a massive amount of experience, enabling me to train people in all aspects of driving, including getting students through their LGV test, right up to driving under blue lights and 4x4 off-road training.

I have gained numerous qualifications, including Emergency Response Driving Instructor (Blue Lights), PTLLS in Education and Training, TAQA Assessor Qualification, and Coaching & Mentoring, just to name a few.

It is now time for a change. I have decided to do fewer hours while carrying on doing what I love and have done for 25 years: teaching people how to drive at the start of their driving career and giving them a good, safe foundation to either enjoy driving or continue to develop their skills in the future.

Lessons

★

I only do 1½-hour lessons. Experience has shown that anything longer tends to mean people switch off and lose concentration.

If you want to do 1, 2, or 3 lessons a week, this will speed up the process, but you will need time for the theory and practical tests to be booked. Multiple lessons per week can be arranged, subject to availability.

I don't offer intensive courses because, in my opinion, they very rarely work. If this is what you want, then unfortunately I will not be able to help you.

If you prefer a female instructor, that's not a problem. I work closely with three female instructors.

Prices

★

Simply, it's £60 for a 1½-hour lesson.

Sorry, I don't give discounts as I feel that it's a fair price for my experience and qualifications, together with a well-maintained car.

Payment is preferred by bank transfer prior to the lesson.
